Rooibos salt has a fruity, rounding effect on flavours, drawing them all together. Use in stews, especially traditional tomato-bredie. Season roasted veggies and fruit, poultry, Napolitana sauce, soups and breakfast eggs.
Rooibos is traditionally associated with anti-ageing and is used as an antispasmodic. Aspalathin and nothofagin are the unique flavonoids that contribute to the free-radical capturing properties of Rooibos.
