South Africa's Indigenous Culinary Flavours
South Africa's culinary flavours derive from a family of ancient botanicals called Fynbos (fine bush - Dutch/Afrikaans) indigenous to the southern tip of Africa. They comprise the greater portion of the Cape Floristic Region with some 7000 recorded species. Cape Town's Table Mountain is at the centre of this globally acclaimed diversity hotspot and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our South African Fynbos range includes edible varieties available as tea infusions, seasoning salts and culinary herbs that add an extraordinary South African flavour to everyday dishes, a true taste of terroir.
