The Cape Town Fynbos Experience distils the best of 7000 Fynbos species into Tastings, Apothecary Workshops and a distinctive South African culinary and homeware range.
South Africa's unmistakeable national flower, the King Protea and health-boosting Rooibos tea are two of these species of ancient, indigenous plants known collectively as Fynbos (fine bush-Afrikaans).
Cape Town’s imposing Table Mountain stands sentinel to these fascinating botanicals in the Cape Floral Region, covering an area of 78 555 square kilometres. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004, this floral kingdom is one of the world's great centres of terrestrial biodiversity.
"Giselle Courtney's Cape Town Fynbos Experience is our hot new pic on the floral calendar, offering fynbos tastings and apothecary workshops steeped in a wealth of knowledge about the Cape's rich botanical heritage."
